Six major motorway networks pass through Lille:

  • A1 from Paris (220 km)
  • A25 from Dunkerque (80 km)
  • A27/E42 from Brussels (110 km)
  • A22 /E17 from Ghent (75 km), Antwerp (125 km) and Amsterdam (290 km)
  • A23 from Valenciennes (53 km): exit No2 in Lille, lane 2A signposted Lille Grand Palais.
  • A26 from Calais (110 km): exit No1 in Lille (on the left handside), lane 2A signposted Lille Grand Palais.

By Plane

Lille International Airport is 10 km away from the city centre, with direct connections to 15 European capitals. It serves national and international destinations. Direct flights with Air France, Hop!,  Ryanair, Volotea, Easyjet, Aigle Azur, Air Algérie, Agean Airlines and Vueling to and from: Biarritz, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Corsica. Direct international flights to and from: Algiers, Athens, Barcelone El Prat, Geneva, Lisbon, Milan, Oran and Porto. A shuttle service from the airport (Gate A) to the city centre (bus stop sign "Liaison aéroport" outisde the Euralille shopping centre) is available. Journey time: 20 minutes.

Lille is also less than one hour away from two international airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (51 min) Bruxelles Zaventem (38 min)
